About our noise sources ...
- Flatness and spurious responses. All RFD noise sources are spurious free and most are designed for flatness, or a defined and stable output characteristic. Our BBGen model offers truly exceptional flatness at a fraction of the price of any competing product.
- Short term stability. RFD noise semiconductors were selected as part of an 18 month development project in 2010. Whilst a noise generator circuit is simple, stable and flat operation over temperature and time is not easily achieved.
- Long term stability. We have built, calibrated and supplied a large number of sources since 2010. We have real time ageing data from life tests. Our noise sources demonstrate superior characteristics day to day and year to year.
